Bringing international experiences to performances
With an artistic soul forged across New York, Moscow, and Paris, Courtney Pulitzer has trained with professionals worldwide, bringing her sensitive nature and comedic timing to the stage. Her training journey began at Skidmore College, where she starred in the inaugural production of the brand-new state-of-the-art theater under the famed direction of Alma Becker and Kay Matschullat.
From there, she honed her craft at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts elite studios: Experimental Theater Wing, Playwrights Horizons, Atemi/Aylett Studios, and spent her final semester in Moscow, Russia at the Circle in the Square Summer exchange program with the Mikhail Shchepkin Theatre School, graduating with honors.
Beyond the footlights, Pulitzer was an entrepreneurial pioneer during the dot-com boom, achieving international fame for her “Cocktails with Courtney” events and “Cyber Scene” newsletter. Her creative talents span painting, sewing, web design, and more. With a strong yet serene stage presence, impeccable comic timing, and a wry sense of humor, Pulitzer commands any role.
Pulitzer moved from New York City to Paris, France, where she immersed herself in a new stage of life with her French husband and son. After eight years of Parisian bliss, Pulitzer and her family moved stateside, where she is reviving her theatrical yearnings to local stage and screen.
