A Worldly, Multifaceted Performer
With an artistic soul forged across New York, Moscow, and Paris, Courtney Pulitzer is a true renaissance woman of the stage. Her training journey began at Skidmore College, where she starred in the inaugural production of the brand-new state-of-the-art theater under the famed direction of Alma Becker and Kay Matschullat.
From there, she honed her craft at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts elite studios: Experimental Theater Wing, Playwrights Horizons, Atemi/Aylett Studios, and spent her final semester in Moscow, Russia at the Circle in the Square Summer exchange program with the Mikhail Shchepkin Theatre School, graduating with honors.
Beyond the footlights, Pulitzer was an entrepreneurial pioneer during the dot-com boom, achieving international fame for her “Cocktails with Courtney” events and “Cyber Scene” newsletter. Her creative talents span painting, sewing, web design and more. With a strong yet serene stage presence, impeccable comic timing, and a wry sense of humor, Pulitzer commands any role.
Whether regaling Parisian cafes as a museum-hopping mom after marrying her French husband, or captivating audiences with her powerful speaking skills, this multifaceted artist personifies passion, authenticity and an insatiable lust for life. Her story, much like her performances, simply enthralls.
